Did a quick LooterShop on my lunch break. TMNT vs Looters. I know who I’m putting my money on…
Crystal Palace FC are putting through suggestion on a new badge, and they’ve put forward 4 designs - naturally this is causing a huge fuss amongst the fans of the club - but the general consensus of those who aren’t up in arms that the best designs are A and B from the choice of four.
Personally, I like the traditional elements of the first one, and the professionalism of the second. So I thought I would combine the two with this quick effort, which doesn’t look bad. But I could refine it even further if I were so inclined, or maybe even do more versions.
My friend is a huge Iron Man fan, and he likes to call any of his own little side projects “Strange Industries”. So he asked me to knocked him up a logo in the style of the “Stark Industries” logo. Don’t worry, it’s not going to be used in any official capacity so no copyrights are being broken, it’s just for teh lulz.
Quick 5 minute Photoshop, for a laugh. Thought this was apt after the weekend.
And yes, I know I haven’t done any serious updates for a while. I’ve been a bit too busy doing actual work to do anything for the blog!
A recruitment poster for Croydon Roller Derby that I made during an hour’s downtime time at work. Although not the usual CRD style, I thought the retro style would appeal to a broader range of people. Plus, to me, it’s a reminder of the old “Your country needs you” war recruitment posters, which I’ve always been a fan of (stylistically, not of what they represent).
Work’s been incredibly busy lately, so I haven’t really had time to update this blog, but there’s a lull today so thought I’d play around with photoshop a bit. Decided to create my “company” name in this firey style because… well, why not?
